Dedicated to the advancement of local art in the Delaware community, the Fresh Start Community Art Gallery provides a FREE opportunity for local artists to display and sell their work without the rental costs and commissions charged by other spaces. Looking for a Donation?
The Purpose of Fresh Start is to support the Historic Downtown Delaware Community. We believe that food & drink and community are inseparable. It brings us together, shapes our memories, and empowers our communities. Bonds with loved ones become stronger, and strangers feel like strangers no more. There is that special connection to the community through individual interactions that is so much more than a business transaction.
We receive numerous donation requests (almost on a daily basis). And, while we would love to be able to help everyone, we just cannot meet the need of every request.
We review each request against the following criteria:
- Aligns with our personal and corporate values.
- The degree of need (as opposed to want) of the cause/beneficiary.
- Collaboration opportunity to support Historic Downtown Delaware community.
- Marketing opportunity.
- Capacity/Budget. Sometimes we just have to say no because we don’t have the time and/or budget to say yes to everything.
