#ExperienceDelawareOhio
#ExperienceDelawareOhio is an annual event sponsored by Fresh Start Cafe & Bakery where local and regional bloggers/social media influencers are invited to spend the day in historic Downtown Delaware.
Named “Best Hometown in 2021 by Ohio Magazine, the city of Delaware has been recognized as a great place to live, work and visit because, among other things, its strong sense of community and thriving downtown. Delaware has so much to offer and once you visit, you will want to come again and again (and tell others to visit too!).
As a blogger/influencer, participating in #ExperienceDelawareOhio consists of an amazing day of food (breakfast, lunch & happy hour provided), shopping, fun, and friends (both other includencers and new people you will meet!).

Cake Decorating for Beginners
Learn professional cake decorating tips and tricks as this class covers the basic techniques of decorating with buttercream icing. Participants start with two 8” made-from-scratch cake rounds and learn how to stack, dirty ice, final ice and pipe basic decorations resulting in a completely finished cake. In addition to their finished cake, all attendees receive a cake decorating kit. There is no minimum age if the participate can work independently.
Coffee 101
A combination of education, demonstration and coffee tasting, this event is designed for individuals who want to know more about where coffee comes from, how it is processed and the different ways to brew it. Learn the history of coffee, the difference between Arabica and Robusta coffee beans, the difference between a light, medium or dark roast, and more. Also sample Crimson Cups’ signature Armando’s Blend coffee using five (5) different brewing methods. All attendees go home with a bag of Armando’s coffee.
Croissant/Cruffin Day
Once a year, we bring back our amazing croissants and cruffins. We make extra to purchase on that day, but we highly recommend that you pre-order because they go really fast!

Community Art Gallery/Artist Reception
Dedicated to the advancement of local art in the Delaware community, the Fresh Start Community Art Gallery provides a FREE opportunity for local artists to display and sell their work without the rental costs and commissions charged by other spaces. Each artist displays their art for two (2) months. Join us on the dates below from 2:30PM – 4:00PM for an open house with drinks and lite refreshments for an artist reception to see each new exhibit and meet the artist.
